Our playbook is aligned with A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, PMBOK® Guide, Sixth Edition, which includes: The Standard for Project Management ANSI/PMI 99-001-2017. 

Our playbook is also designed based on the Pareto Principle:

  • 20% can be tailored to the needs of your particular project or organization.

There are a number of different approaches to managing projects. Our playbook uses the traditional(waterfall) staged approach.

We are committed to practice rather than theory. Based on our core values, our workshops focus on a practical approach to project management - ‘doing it’ as follows:

Doing it

  • Using a selection of the key elements/templates above, we work with participants to answer the following questions: what is it? why use it?
  • We then work with participants to apply a selection of the key elements/templates to a case study, relevant and tailored to their organisation.
  • In addition, participants can work, either individually or as a team, to apply a selection of the key elements/templates to a project of their own selection. 
  • This project plan is then submitted for assessment.
